Laptop Setup[edit | edit source]
Station 1: SADP[edit | edit source]
- Windows Laptop running SADP. Only needed for initial camera activation with username/pw
Station 2: Configuration[edit | edit source]
- Ubuntu Laptop running hikconfig.py, setup with static IP 192.168.1.65 and connected to the camera via a PoE injector.
Station 3: Testing[edit | edit source]
- Ubuntu Laptop with: SSH session to reader running hikmonitor.py, VLC tab open to rtsp stream rtsp://admin:party101@10.10.10.30/Streaming/Channels/1 and on loop
- Reader with 2 connections: Wi-Fi AP 10.10.10.10, Eth 10.10.20.10, /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward = 1
- Laptop is 10.10.20.66
