  • 1 x VR000000 PolyCase? Routed Box
  • 1 x VR000000 Provisioned VR M2MReader Board
  • 1 x VR000000 PopTracker Verizon Activated USB760 Modem
  • 1 x VR000000 Double Sided Tape
  • 1 x VR000000 Conduit Connector
  • 1 x VR000000 BR2032 battery
  • 1 x VR000000 Board power cable
  • 1 x VR000000 External Antenna Assy N to SMA RA
  • 4 x VR000000 #4-40x3/8" plastic screws
  • 1 x VR000000 N connector grounding plate
  • 1 x VR000000 Foam spacer square
  • 1 x VR000000 PopTracker Lid assembly

Tools[edit | edit source]

  • #1 Phillips Screwdriver
  • Conduit wrench (Pliers ?)
  • N connector wrench
  • SMA connector torque wrench (Pliers ?)

Instructions[edit | edit source]

Board Installation[edit | edit source]

  1. Attach the VR000000 Double Sided Tape to the board as shown.
  2. Insert the VR000000 PopTracker Verizon Activated USB760 Modem to top USB connector on the board. Make sure it is seated firmly on the double-sided tape.
  3. Insert the board into the box, and attach with 4 VR000000 #4-40x1/4" screws tightened to X.
  4. Insert a VR000000 BR2032 battery into the battery connector on the board with the + side facing out.

Box connectors[edit | edit source]

  1. Conduit/power connector assembly
    1. Insert the conduit connector to the hole in the box on the right. Tighten with the Conduit wrench to X.
    2. Attach the Board power cable to the VIN connector on the board, with the wires facing to the right.
    3. Route the power cable wires out through the conduit connector.
  2. N connector assembly
    1. Remove the toothed washer, nut, and cap from the N connector cable.
    2. Insert the N connector to the left hole in the box.
    3. Slide the N connector grounding plate onto the N connector on the outside of the box.
    4. Slide on the toothed washer from the N connector.
    5. Fasten the nut on the N connector and tighten to X with the N connector wrench.
  3. Connect the SMA end of the external antenna connector to the J2 connector on board closest to the top side of the box, and tighten to X.

Lid antenna connection[edit | edit source]

  1. Attach Foam square to back of the antenna on the lid.
  2. Connect Lid antenna SMA cable to J1 connector on board closest to the left side of the box, and tighten to X with SMA torque wrench.

Double check before closing[edit | edit source]

  1. Make sure the board has a provisioned sticker.
  2. Make sure the battery is installed with the + side facing out.
  3. Make sure all external connectors are tightened against the box.
  4. Make sure all internal SMA connectors have been tightened.
  5. Make sure the foam spacer square is attached to the back of the lid.

Closing the box[edit | edit source]

  1. Make sure the SMA connector on the antenna lid is tight.
  2. Attach the lid to the box, making sure the foam spacer square hits between the board and antenna.
  3. Orient the lid so the cable goes toward the center of the box.
  4. Tighten the 4 lid screws to 8 in-lbs.
