BurnIN/OUT Test Procedure[edit | edit source]
A. Setup new test[edit | edit source]
Part 1. LogTag Setup[edit | edit source]
- Plug in LogTag
- Close any data windows that pop up
- Click Blue LogTag icon
- Set temperature logging parameters?
- Click "Next"
- Click "Close" (NOT "Next")
Part 2. Setup VR-Tests-Database[edit | edit source]
- Scan LogTag ID
- Choose "BurnIN" or "BurnOUT"
- Set Test Duration in "Time" Box
- Set "Buffer" to 30 Minutes
- Click "Begin Test"
- Scan VRSN#
- Verify Correct Asset is Displayed
- Click "This is the item"
- Choose number of labels to be printed (Default: 2)
- Click "This is the number I choose"
- Click and hold "Start/Mark" button until LEDs blink
- Place one label on LogTag
- Place in designated location? inside unit
- Place other label on unit being tested
B. Complete existing test[edit | edit source]
Part 1. Download LogTag Data[edit | edit source]
- Plug LogTag into reader
- Click "Report" Tab
- Select "File">"Print" then "OK"
- Select "File">"Save As"
- Save as pdf
- Select "Hibernate"
- Click "Close"
- Remove LogTag from Reader
- Place LogTag in bins
Part 2. Upload completed-test-data to VR-Tests-Database[edit | edit source]
- Select "After"
- Select test outcome
| PASS | Unit Passes Temperature Test |
| FAIL | Unit fails Temperature Test |
| EXCEPTION | Test is Unfinished/Inconclusive |
| UNKNOWN | Default if no outcome is selected |
- Apply PFX Label to Report printout over "LogTag" and fill-in appropriate check boxes

| OUT | BurnOut |
| P | PASS |
| F | FAIL |
| X | EXCEPTION |
